My father Kenneth N. Kennedy served in the Traveller carrying supplies for the invasion of France, and was the first allied ship to dock in Cherbourg to discharge. They were attached to the United States forces and supplied the fuelfor General Patton's campaign through Normandy. Dad is still going aged 91 !
