Joined the Platidia as an apprentice engineer on Easter 1970 while she was in Dry-dock in Cardiff. It must have left an impression as 20 years later i moved to live in cardiff. The Seamans Mission has now gone and in its place is a 12 screen cinema! The dry dock has gone as has most of the Port but Cardiff Bay is a great place to be now!
