About
Completed 1884 as sandhopper Serapeum for Suez Canal Company. 1903 purchased by Shell Transport & Trading and converted to a tanker for Dutch East Indies-China trade. 1908 transferred to N.I.T. 1909 to B.P.M. 1926 sold to Teikaku Japan and renamed Serapeum Maru. 1932 scrapped Singapore.
