My Father David Norman George MOSS was Captain of the SHAZA from about September 1942 to October 1945. One year I did a trip with Dad from Mombasa to Tanga, Pengani and Zanzibar, on the way out from Momobasa we had heavy a heavy sea and can remember being very sea sick until we reached open sea which was rather choppy unlike the rollers coming through the reef.
