Visiting this website has brought back so many memories of my old shipmates and of the times we had together, paticularly serving on the Bela and Gari in the far east.
The times spent listening to records in "Eli" Withers cabin with Frankie Fish and Doug Hart in attendance, all the runs ashore in so many Indonesian Ports. The occasional hard work, the humour and friendships created. This was a golden time for myself and hopefully the same for all my old shipmates. Thankyou Helder Line for your hard work and commitment in creating this website that has given me so much pleasure |
