| 03/07/2009 - 10:18 | Ref the Haustrum: That was the trip that included the attack in the Saigon River at Coral Bank, the death of the quarter master and a badly injured Albert Rylett (Captain) I was on my first trip as 3rd Mate so I was on the Bridge and it is the only time I have grabbed a VHF and called MAYDAY.!! I am still in touch with Malc Dann and Danvers Hough who were also there. Then the long drag back to curaco from Singapore non stop with bunkers in the cargo tanks...long trip.! Chris |
