| 08/26/2006 - 22:25 | For Brian P. The Matco Thames & Matco Avon were not part of the Shell/Esso pool of Serenia/Drupa/Esso Aberdeen/Esso Warwickshire. The Matco ships mentioned were shuttle tankers operated by Mobil from the Beryl platform/Field into Mobil's UK refinery at Coryton. Trust this helps. Regards |

There were 4 vessels altogether ?2 supplied by Shell and 2 by Esso (as joint venture partners). The first Shell vessel used from the Brent Spar to UK refineries was the Drupa and followed by the Serenia. The Esso vessels were the Esso Aberdeen and Esso Warwickshire. Excellent website!
