| 08/29/2004 - 11:13 | This is a site for sore eyes !! I was so thrilled to find photos of 11 out of 13 Shell Tankers on which I sailed between August 1952 and August 1960 . Many Many Thanks to Kees Helder, I am 70 years young now and still think of my sea career, catering boy up to chief steward, as being the happiest days of my life. Does anyone know of a "Sparks "by the name of David Wardley. He and I played many games of scrabble to while away the hours , but for the life of me I do not remember which Shell Tanker we were on at the time, he was married to a lady named Christine. I would love to hear from David. |
